Trick or Treat for UNICEF is a Halloween initiative that aids in the education of both youth and adults about the importance of multi-culturalism and community values. Today, Halloween means more than candy, costumes, ghosts, and goblins. It means vaccines, clean water, and improved nutrition for less fortunate children.
.
Since 1950, Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF has been responsible for bringing new meaning to Halloween. Through the years, the children of the United States have raised more than $120 million to help build a better future for children around the globe.
Trick Or Treat For UNICEF
My family participated last year for the very first time, and it was great! It felt good to use have our fun of trick-or-treating and Halloween party-going double as a mission to help others. We were able to raise over 100 dollars to donate to UNICEF. Most of all, the kids got to see one of the many fun and creative ways that giving can be done year-round—not just during the Holiday season.
During last year’s Halloween activities and or Trick or Treat for UNICEF mission!
Halloween is quickly approaching, but it’s not too late to participate. Though you can’t order boxes anymore, you can still get all you need right from the website! You can print out your canister wrappers, fundraising posters, and more! Create your own collection canisters with the downloaded wrappers and have your family use them along with the poster on Halloween during their door to door Trick-or-Treating. Or have a UNICEF Halloween party with the neighborhood or friends. After the day is over, download the donation form to complete and mail in to UNICEF along with your collected funds. Your donation can also be conveniently dropped off at any CoinStar location.

The kids and I are excited to participate in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF again this year! Knowing that through our efforts we are able to help less fortunate children get basic life necessities is a wonderful feeling indeed!
