
Why I’m Joining The Tank #StrongerU 30-Day Challenge (And 7 Reasons You Should Too!)
Okay, Okay I confess: I need some help with losing this weight!!!
You know that last year I started my Mission 24/7 challenge to get myself back to better health. But when personal issues arose and my time for wellness and exercise became increasingly restricted, I fell off the wagon. Then, right when I was about to get started again, my Father’s untimely passing earlier this year sent me into a downward spiral of depression where food became the sole method of comfort for me.

Initially I was 148 pounds. As of today I weigh 158.

One of my biggest lessons in all of this was how much of a fool I was for trying to lose the weight all by myself – especially since I know that I lack discipline when it comes to emotional eating. It took me a minute, but I realized that if I am going to do this thing and I really want to get it right, I need some help. It’s like learning how to ride a bike: just give me the proper start, and I can take it from there.

Tank (known in the R&B world as ‘The General’) is challenging his “soldiers” to join him in 30-day quest to becoming a #StrongerU in the areas of physical, mental/emotional and spiritual health and wellness. He doesn’t stop there, either. In addition to the free download of the day-by-day meal and fitness plan for the challenge, Tank has also created a special online wall where participants can share photos of their progress and view that of others to be inspired and reminded that they are not alone. He also promises to ‘drop in’ periodically throughout the challenge to check in with participants and give some ‘little shoves’ of motivation of his own.
