I know that I have talked a lot about my oldest son Jedi graduating from high school this year. But I simply cannot help it! While he is not the first child that I have had to graduate from high school, his commencement is very special to me.
There were many complications with my pregnancy with my oldest son. He was born a few month early, and doctors were not sure if he would be okay. Yet he came through it all healthy and strong, and grew up to be not only a wonderful son, but a truly awesome young man.
To see him walk across the graduation stage and receive his diploma was one the happiest and most heartfelt moments of my life. And to know that he is entrusting his father and I to be there for him and guide him as he enters into his college years makes me even happier.

The enduring bond that we share and his academic accomplishments are reasons to celebrate not just on one particular day, but every day. I do so by making time for mother and son nights out, and walks and talks in the park – sharing moments of love and laughter and Coca-Cola from our neighborhood Schnucks stores, just the two of us.
.

My son and I love spending time in the park talking about life while sharing a Coke.

With so much negativity going on in the world today involving young men, I am very proud of the fact that I can boast that my ‘young man’ is doing positive things! This is something that I tell him every day. He has a great head on his shoulders and a bright future ahead of him. And Hubby and I plan to be there for him every step of the way, sharing our own Cokes as we work hard to secure his future, as well as our own.
.

No matter how busy we may get, Hubby and I always make time to share a Coke and special moments of our own.
.
As I look forward to the years ahead, I know that there will be plenty moments for us to share a Coke in celebration of his everyday victories, and in supporting of him when college life gets tough. And when the time comes around again for him to don a cap and gown, and cross the graduation stage to receive his college degree, he can rest assured that all of us will be right there cheering him on with love and ready to share an ice cold Coke to propose a toast to his successful moments of life that lie ahead.

My son just graduated last weekend & I totally would have bought some Class of 2015 bottles for the party if I had known about them sooner.
How much fun! Congrats to your son and I know you are so proud. Those are the perfect Cokes for graduation – even though my son’s graduation is from kindergarten we may have to celebrate with one!
We absolutely love this Coke promotion … we first saw these in Europe a few summers ago and we were so jealous that the US did not have this promotion yet. We were so excited last summer to see these in stores!
So glad you are able to share so much with your son. I am sure he will do well in the years to come.
Congrats to your grad and your family! So fun!
How perfect are those Share a Coke with the Class of 2015 sodas?!?! I haven’t seen those in stores yet, but I will be on the look-out.
Wow congratulations! Having an ice cold coke together is a great way to talk about the future.
That is so wonderful that your son overcame so much and was able to graduate from high school! I can see why you are so proud of him! Good luck to him with his future endeavors!
Congratulations! Love the Coke’s you were able to find. So fun to find them to share this special time.
I would have flipped for those bottles back when I was graduating! Such a sweet story-congratulations to your son!

Congratulations to you and your handsome young man Makeba! My oldest daughter will turn 18 and graduate next week on the 17th. Time is rushing by.. In a few short months she’ll be off to start on the next adventure… and I’ll hold on to every precious moment she has graced me with since I first stared into her gorgeous eyes…
Congratulations to your graduate. I am loving all the share a coke bottles. So cool.
You definitely should be proud! Great pics too! 🙂
First of all, congratulations to you and to him. Great that COKE is making the graduation celebration much sweeter than ever.
Congratulations graduate! Love the share a Coke campaign.
I love the Share A Coke campaign. Sometimes you can’t find the name Joseph but you can find Griselda. It’s odd. Congratulations on your son’s graduation!
