Nutrition Advisor for “Biggest Loser” Reveals New Lifestyle Program to Reduce Heart Risk
The first and only scientifically-designed nutrition and lifestyle program aimed at heart health is set to launch its Next-generation plan this month. The individually-customized plan motivates patients to adhere to treatment plans, improve test results and reduce heart disease risk.
This next generation plan, Life Plan 2.0, is revolutionizing patient health. It’s the only scientifically-designed, cardiovascular nutrition and lifestyle plan available. It is uniquely tailored to each individual patient’s blood test results and personal preferences – meaning no two plans are alike. The plan features customized weight and fitness goals and specific recommendations to improve test results and reduce heart risk of disease. It also employs a sophisticated algorithm incorporating more than 100 patient attributes including biomarker test results, food and fitness preferences, patient demographics and personal history.
It has been shown that patients who participate in this program reduce heart risk and achieve greater improvement in follow-up diagnostic test results than those who don’t. The Life Plan makes healthy eating easier by arming patients with the practical tools they need to change the way they eat and live including patient-specific calorie goals, nutrient targets, seven day menus, food lists and activity plans. Additionally, patients return for follow-up appointments with their healthcare providers’ sooner than those who don’t participate in a lifestyle program – helping to keep patients better connected to their providers.
