My Summer Recap: Learning to Lean on Faith
Enjoying my final week of calm before the chaos. 🎒🏫🚸
This summer didn’t go as planned for me: I worked far more than I rested, my Meniere’s disease decided to go into overdrive, I had a fierce bout with Covid, and my ‘summer to-do list’ went completely out the window.
But there were some unseen benefits. I learned more about myself than I ever had before. I experienced growth in the areas of discernment and understanding and leaning more on God.
Because of both, I discovered the true meaning of the phrase, “The Joy of the Lord is my strength, and the strength of the Lord is my Joy.” And for that, I wouldn’t trade this summer for anything. 😌
For everyone in every capacity that’s returning to school – from students and teachers to all other staff workers, and the parents and/or guardians – I’m wishing you a safe, healthy, and successful school year! 🙏🏽❤️😊
