In honor of the season, for the month of December I will be doing a special edition of Music Mondays! Each week, I will share some of my favorite Inspiring songs of the holidays. Be sure to look them up and add them to your personal collection as a way to add a little inspiration in your life!

I love the Holiday season so much! It is the one time of the year where joy is all around and focus is placed on the things of life that are most important.

One of those things is love.

I am not just talking about between partners and spouses.  I am talking about all kinds of love, like that shared with family and friends. Love for life and everything in it. Love for blessings, abilities and opportunities. Love for what is now and what is to come. Most of all, love for being alive.

There is so much to be shared in this season, and there is so much to reflect upon, too. As the month goes by, I oftentimes think about the ways that little things of life have impacted me in a big way; or the moments throughout the year when I was able to help someone else—even if with nothing but a smile or a kind word. I think about the times where a hug or a few moments of time spent helped someone else to be inspired again. I also reflect on the ways that others have done the same for me.

 

To me, that is love.

 

As you begin to dive into your parties, to-do lists and other affairs, remember to share and demonstrate the spirit of love with everyone that you meet, everywhere you go. During the holidays, carry the spirit of love with you and give it out to the rest of the world generously. You will find that the same gift of love will be given back to you.
