Montell Jordan is requesting that all of his fans get Covered – will you do it???

 

“Covered” is a new music project from the Victory World Church in Norcross, Georgia. The live recording is led by R&B singer-turned-Worship Pastor Montell Jordan.

 .

Yes you read that correctly. The same Montell Jordan behind the 90’s R&B hits “This Is How We Do It,” “Falling,” and “Let’s Ride” has left his former world behind and is now using his vocal talents to serve a Higher purpose.

 .

“I was born and raised as a church kid,” says Montell. “Like many, music ministry was the foundation of my musical upbringing.”

He added, “My journey has simply been an exchange of personal success for eternal significance.”

 .

Produced and recorded by Jordan, “Covered” is a praise and worship project that captures the worship moments of Victory World Church–the nearly 13,000 member, multi-cultural and multi-generational congregation located just 20 minutes north from the heart of Downtown Atlanta. Each of the project’s ten songs were recorded to inspire and encourage.

The church is currently seeking participants to partner and help bring the new album to life with Montell at the helm. In return, supporters can receive incentives such as preorder and digital download availability, autographed hardcopies of the project upon release, and more. He is hoping that long-time friends and fans will join with him in this endeavor to assist in creating something significant and successful in his new life journey.

 

“Being a Worship Pastor has allowed me to do now what I am gifted to do: as a singer, songwriter, producer, and a recording artist,” says Jordan. “More importantly, it has allowed me to do what I am called to do, and that is to minister.”

 .

Funds for the project will assist with the album’s mixing and mastering completion, securing of proper clearances and licensing, and providing distribution and replication costs to allow the project to be completed debt free.

 .

“I am really excited to invite [people] to something that has transformed my life,” says Jordan. “And I believe it will transform the lives of thousands more.”
