Because of our very busy schedules, my husband and I had not been out on a date night in a very long time. So when I received an invitation to attend an exclusive Salsa Date Night for Bloggers at Majestic Dance Studio in Frontenac, Missouri, I jumped at the chance to go!

The first thing that I noticed about Majestic Dance Studio is the warm and inviting atmosphere. Although I was very nervous since I had not danced in years, upon entering I felt very comfortable and right at home..

After taking time to meet and greet each other over beverages and hors d’oeuvres, we began our salsa dance instruction from the wonderful Alexandr Borodko, renowned dancing champion and owner of the Majestic Dance Studio.

We were also given a special treat: a performance of waltz and salsa dancing by the studio staff.

I had so much fun learning the salsa dance steps. Hubby did, too! In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we decided to return to the studio for their future date night events.

My husband and I know better than anyone how a busy family schedule can push time together to the backburner. We also know how a stressed or cluttered mind can result in only thinking of the usual ‘dinner and a movie’ date night option. But now that we have done a date night of learning to salsa at a dance studio, it is something that I would definitely love for us to do more often!

Majestic Dance Studio will be hosting another Salsa Date Night on Saturday, June 27th at 7:30-9:00pm. Grab spouse/significant other and spend an evening making memories and learning the basics of Salsa and other Latin Dances you can do anywhere! Believe me: you will love it!
