Mary grew up in the same house as her Italian grandparents. They spent every Saturday cooking and prepping for Sunday dinner, an experience that taught her to cook and influenced her career. Every Saturday they cooked for Sunday dinner.
Mary shows off her entertaining skills as a regular contributor on the Rachael Ray Show. She also has a partnership with Chef Mario Batali. They started MARIO by Mary as a corporate catering business together and have now expanded with a soup and sandwich shop Mario by Mary at the Pennsy in NYC.
Now Mary wants to help others create Italian-inspired flavor to their home gatherings. She joined me to share her tips on spring and summer entertaining and ways to throw and Italian-themed dinner party without breaking the bank. Mary, also revealed her simple rules for “living Italian.”
