Is It Ever a Good Idea to Create Artificial Jealousy to Capture Someone’s Heart?
Experts say the best gift you can give to someone is showing them the real meaning of love…and simple gestures can work to do this.
However, social media of course has changed the ways that some people believe they can capture a person’s interest. An example of this is the age-old antics of trying to create jealousy along with an intense sense of desire and urgency to act – only now, it’s through profile photos and reels.
Then there are those who take things to another level by going to extremes pretending to be someone they’re not – whether on social media or in-person.
While either of the above might work, the questions are
- is it worth it?
- What if it backfires?
Author Gerald Everett Jones and I address the issue and its impact on emotional health while also discussing his new book trilogy: a witty yet cautionary tale about the perils of facades in the dating space. You can learn more about the book and the author here.
