How to Let it Go and Keep Going Part I: Take Life One Step at a Time
In continuing with the topic moving forward in life, after knowing how important it is to keep going no matter what’s going on for you and to let things go, next is the question of exactly how to do that.
The first step is take the process slowly.
When life gets hard, the first thing that usually comes to mind is what can be done in order to make a “quick fix” of the situation. The belief is, the sooner a better state of being happens for us, the sooner our lives will be happier in return. However, oftentimes the result of trying to rush into things turns out far worse than we could have ever imagined.
A fast result does not always equal the best result. In other words, you may reach it fast, but does that mean that the outcome is truly right for you? Does it mean that it was a part of your intended life path?
Nine times out of ten, the answer is no.
To get to your desired place of mental, physical, and emotional well-being be it short or long-term, you must take the process step by step. If you struggle with letting things go and you find yourself trying to expedite the process of life getting better, remember that the patient approach is always the best approach. To keep going—no matter what pace you may need to use—is what matters most.
None of this can successfully happen by rushing. All of it happens best with time.
Continue making steps in life, no matter how small they have to be, and continue letting frustrations go, no matter how small of an amount you have to do it. You will find that when you take the time, you arrive at your desired place of well-being sooner (and much better off) than you thought you would. 🙂

I know when we are younger we always fear of getting older (or at least I did). But I’m so much more comfortable in my skin and the pace in which I enjoy life!
Taking my time, not judging and loving every minute (even if bad) because that will deliver me to the place where I need to be.
I can’t get enough of Kimbra – (Settle Down) love her words but because I’m musically driven, I love how she lays each track with her own voice. Amazing!! She’s always playing on my Spotify right now. ~ Happy Monday
Greetings Lala! You said it right there!! Learning to love and appreciate every moment–no matter how slow the progress or whether it’s good or bad–is the true key to happiness. All of it does indeed lead you to your destined place in life. ~Thank you so much for sharing here with me! 🙂
Very empowering, Makeba! It’s so easy to get impatient, and to allow time to dictate what we think should be happening. Something else that tends to happen to us is looking at how quickly others seem to be getting to where we desire to be. This used to be my biggest problem. However, I have begun to train myself in ensuring that my process is the one for me, and if I know it’s the right process; then the only other thing left to do is to trust in it. The Universe truly has a way with telling us ‘what… Read more »
Greetings Deone! You and I are on the exact same page!! That’s one of the things that is proof that you really are operating in ‘letting it go and keeping it moving’– when you are becoming comfortable in the understanding that all things happen one step at a time–and that your steps may not be the same as someone else’s. It’s a truly great feeling to be released from those pressures of trying to rush and/or feelings of frustration. Trust me: I know! Lol. ~Thank you a million for sharing here with me Friend, I sincerely appreciate it! 🙂
