When it comes to snack time, my kids are devastatingly serious. Every day when I pick my kids ups from school — they expect their after school snacks, and they won’t talk to me about anything else until they get it.
Finding good, healthy, cheap after school snacks that the kids will eat has proven to be a challenge. I would sometimes stop by fast food places or grab chips at convenience stores, but of course neither of those are the healthiest option.
If passing by our neighborhood farmer’s market, I would sometimes try to buy fruit, but they would still complain of hunger after eating it. I would even offer to bake up some snacks that I knew would satisfy their hunger better, but I would always forget.
What I needed was a snack that was fast but healthy and filling. Knowing fast food was out as a solution, I went store-hunting and eventually came across Sandwich Bros Flatbread Pocket sandwiches.

Sandwich Bros. sandwiches come in lots of protein packed varieties! At our store, we found Chicken Melts, Angus Cheeseburgers, and Gyro Sliders. I grabbed a few boxes of Chicken Melts, and when I first prepared them for the kids, they loved them! They actually wanted to eat through the whole box! But to their surprise, and to my delight, they were full after only two each.
They did find a way to finish off the box when they ate them for dinner that same night, but overall I was impressed. I even found myself sneak one before they were gone!
I finally had a snack that the family could enjoy that would also outlast big appetites, and because they are easy to make, the kids can prepare them themselves.

Why go to a fast food restaurant when you can make your own delicious Sandwich Bros. in the comfort of your own kitchen?! Our family loves Sandwich Bros. and I know yours will too!
