Join Me At Girls Night Goes Red For The American Heart Association
To celebrate the power of women in the fight against heart disease, the Metro St. Louis chapter of the American Heart Association is partnering with Edward Jones to host a special “Girls Night Goes Red” event this spring. If you live in or near the St. Louis area, you definitely do not want to miss it!
The fun and informative evening will begin with a passionate story of survival. There will also be heart healthy cooking demonstrations, fitness tips, and a feature presentation by Certified Image Consultant, Julia Timm. Ladies will also be free to mix and mingle while visiting various stations to obtain nutrition and health advice, participate in fitness demos or share their own personal story for a chance to become a national Go Red For Women spokesperson! And of course, no AHA event is complete without heart-healthy Hors D’Voeures and great prizes!
Girls night goes red
“Girls Night Goes Red” is designed to heighten awareness of heart disease as the number one killer of women. According to the American Heart Association, while 1 in 30 American women dies from breast cancer, one in three dies of cardiovascular disease, killing approximately one woman every minute.
