There is absolutely nothing like the attending the greatest show on earth!
My family and I hat the wonderful opportunity to go see the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus on Thursday night. This year’s things is Built to Amaze and I must tell you that the show definitely lived up to its name!

The kids and I were blown away at every component of the show. The range of acts, the costumes and lighting, the colors, performers, and the daredevil stunts and tricks were all top notch! It was very easy to see that extensive planning and thought was put into the show so that it would entertain audience members of all ages. It was accommodating as well: the sound level and lighting effects were perfect for those with sensitivities.
Jedi and Lady T ready for the show to begin!

Another thing that I love about attending the circus is seeing the show’s evolution as time goes on. Ringling Brothers has come a long way from the days when I was a kid. It has definitely kept up with the times. I love how the show itself stays current while delivering the classic awe-inspiring moments that previous generations have grown to know and love.
A crowd favorite, the Ringling Bros. elephants kept the tradition going of amazing feats!

I really loved (and was afraid of!) the tigers! Their act was one to remember!

All of the performances were so good that it is hard for me to pick just one! But if I had to I would say my favorites were the tigers and the ring walkers. My oldest son Jedi loved the acrobats, while my younger children lady T and Manny enjoyed the elephants and the aerialists. We were all amazed by not only the strength of the performers but also their expertise in what they were doing. I also have to hand it to the band and the Ringmaster—they were awesome! The music, singing and dancing gave the show a high-level, fun feel all around.

Opening night at Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus was a blast. From start to finish, the show was exciting, intense, and full of wonderful surprises. Everyone in the family had a great time. It was so great in fact that we are already on tiptoe anticipation for next year’s show!
I bet it has been over 30 years ago since I have been to a circus. How lucky that you and your family got to enjoy this experience. I think the elephants are my favorite too.
We went last year when my toddler was a baby and the older kids had fun. I was hoping for them to come back this year in the summer but no such luck. Maybe next year. They are a lot of fun!
have so much action and entertainment that they keep everyone in our family engaged. We go every year here in the spring in NYC.
Wow there looks like so much was going on – I don’t think I have ever been to the circus I remember trying to go once but the tickets were sold out. x
I’ve never been to a really big circus but this looks amazing!
Gosh it seems like it has been ages since I have gone to the circus. It looks like you and your family had a wonderful time. I need to find out when the circus is going to be near me and take my grandchildren to it. I know they would love it.
The circus looks so fun! I have actually never been. It looks like your whole family enjoyed it. I think I would like the acrobats the best. Thanks for the great review!
That looks like so much fun! Man,I haven’t been to the circus in YEARS! I definitely want to take my boys soon, though 🙂
