Empowerment from Matt Beilis: Your Day is All How You Look At It
“Always remember that you hold the power to create the life that you want, no matter what’s going on around you.
The past happenings of your life do not define you; nor does your present situation.
You can still achieve anything that you can imagine for yourself.
~All you have to do is put your mind to it and stay positive along the journey. ♥”

These are the words that I shared earlier today on my Facebook page, and they came straight from the heart.
Sometimes it will seem as if a ton of craziness happens in the course of a day all at once for the sole purpose of ticking you off (yes, I said it!!).
This is when the power of your mind comes into play. Whatever you believe, that is what will be. So, if you believe that the rest of your day/week/month will stink just because of one bad day or moment, then guess what? That is exactly what will happen for you! Why? Because your way of thinking will become so pessimistic that no matter how many great things happen, you will always find (and dwell on) the bad parts—and all of the bad that happened prior.
When your way of thinking becomes like this, you have laid the groundwork for the creation of a “bad” life without even knowing it.
Remember, whatever you believe, that is what will be. So if you applied the same energy towards being optimistic that the next moment/day/week/month will be much better for you, then that is exactly what will happen! If you commit yourself to having a good day, then even when stuff is coming at you non-stop, at the end of the day, you will discover that your day was indeed good overall. Do this consistently and you will see over time that you have created for yourself a good life.
That does not mean that you are denying that the bad things happened. What it means is that you are saying, “Yes, those things happened, but so what–I’m not going to let it define my outlook going forward.”
Your day is all how you look at it…….and all in what you chose.
“…the details of our days do make a difference
in our lives… no experience is ever just for drill…
everything can be a springboard for inspiration
if we are willing to be open to the goodness of life.”
—Sarah Ban Breathnach, Simple Abundance
If you choose to see the positive, then positive will be right there for you. 🙂
