Check Out These 2 New TV Shows to Help You Design and Dine Better This Spring
Spring is known as the time to spruce up your home and workspace. Yet it is also the time to clean off the patio and deck, peruse the shopping aisles for fresh and trendy décor and furnishings, and prepare for hosting and entertaining friends and family.
There’s so much to do in so little time, that food and furnishing ideas can become quite overwhelming. But no worries – CLEO TV is here to help!
CLEO TV has pronounced the premieres of two, new lifestyle series to Help You design – and dine – better this spring! “Decor Remixed”, produced by Dorsey Pictures (a Red Arrow Studios company), and hosted by interior designer Dominique Calhoun; and “Global Gourmet”, produced by Powerhouse Productions and hosted by the renowned Chef Essie Bartels, will debut with back-to-back episodes beginning Wednesday, April 6 at 9 p.m./8C on the popular and positive lifestyle channel.

“Decor Remixed” follows interior designer Dominique Calhoun, principal at Remix Living, as she takes on clients who have yet to realize their space’s full potential. Her philosophy is to make “high impact design accessible to everyone” on a reasonable budget, stretching every dollar to deliver even more of a makeover than the client ever thought possible.
In each episode, Dominique, along with her network of makers and artisans, get creative to deliver a unique décor space every time – no project is ever the same! Based in Philadelphia, she also adds a personal touch to each design job by incorporating custom pieces from the iconic city’s artisan community.
In the premiere episode, Dominique and Dre meet with a return client, Taylor Bobbi, to go over ideas for her new salon workspace. Meanwhile, a bet between Dominique and Dre could possibly determine Dre’s future as Dominique’s chauffeur!

Essie Bartels is the person from whom you want to learn from in the kitchen and in life as the creator, traveler, entrepreneur, mother and cook extraordinaire on “Global Gourmet”. Chef Essie has a passion for food and people and believes that spice is the anchor to a great dish. The result is a flavorful journey of West African cuisine delivered right to your TV screen and into your home.
Growing up in Ghana, her mother’s tiny kitchen is where her love affair with spice ignited, and it has now grown into an empire. Her extensive travels across the globe have inspired colorful stories and the most incredible dishes bursting with flavor and passion. As her experiments with exotic palates filled with international cuisines, condiments, and spices grew, so did the demand for her homemade sauces and signature flavorful dishes that only the self-proclaimed “Motherland Mogul” can bring to life.
In the premiere episode, Essie gives us a look and taste of some fabulous food. She serves up Moroccan Chicken in a tagine that looks amazing and tastes even better. Then, she slowly cooks Peppered Goat and serves it with a side of Kelewele.
The “Cleo TV Dream Team” of Jason Ryan, Allison Simmons, and Susan Henry serve as the Executive Producers and Senior Director in Charge of Production of the amazing double-dose of Original Programming.
