Anheuser-Busch Reminds Parents to Talk to Teens About Safe Choices this Holiday #ABFamilyTalk
With the Holiday season upon us, the folks at Anheuser-Busch want to remind parents to find the time to talk with their teens about making safe choices when it comes to underage drinking.
The newly-released annual Monitoring the Future Study, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, shows underage drinking continues its long-term decline. But there is more work to be done; that’s why Anheuser-Busch has been a strong supporter of the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) “We Don’t Serve Teens” program since its inception in 2006. The “We Don’t Serve Teens” campaign is a national effort aimed at reducing teen access to alcohol. See attached for an example of our investment, one a handful of billboards you may have already seen around St. Louis.
The FTC partnership and education programs like Anheuser-Busch’s “Family Talk About Drinking” are just a few examples of the company’s long history encouraging smart drinking. For the past 30 years, Anheuser-Busch has been the industry leader in promoting alcohol responsibility, committing more than $1 billion along with our wholesalers since 1982.
