The number one thing that makes me feel apprehensive about working out in a gym or outdoors is confidence. I usually worry that I do not look good in my workout clothes enough to be seen in public in them. My self-consciousness oftentimes results in me staying at home, doing physical fitness with my workout dvds.
This year however, I am determined to step things up a notch. I want to take the plunge, and go workout at my neighborhood fitness gym and park. And since my attire is almost always the factor that determines whether I step outside my front door or not, I believe that it is time to totally revamp my workout wardrobe. I want trendy, stylish, and flattering pieces that are also very comfortable.
Luckily for me, there is a JCPenny store right in my neighborhood, too. They have the best variety of active wear that fits the bill of everything that I am looking for to maximize my workout regimen – without breaking my budget.
JCPenny carries all of my favorite active wear brands: Xersion, Nike, Addidas, and more. Plus, I can also feel confident knowing that by never have to sacrifice quality to save money.

I also love to wear flattering but comfortable outfits when I am walking or working out. It keeps me motivated. Those Nike running shoes look cool.
Well.. one of these days these places will get on board with taller girls.. they still haven’t and I usually have a VERY hard time finding pants that fit my hips, butt, thighs AND length. I am athletic and luckily in Texas it isn’t cold long so shorts work! lol
